Doha: EMS and BlackBerry have announced that the companies are growing the core BlackBerry enterprise mobility solution for customers in the Middle East with BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10.
EMS is one of the largest distributors of BlackBerry smartphones and accessories in the region. It is supporting 100 mobile phone operators in 56 countries in the Middle East, Africa, CIS, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.
“In high penetration markets like the Middle East, it makes sense for enterprises to find ways to drive efficiency, scalability, flexibility and transparency in their mobility solutions, while putting the device at the centre of everything they do,” said Babar Khan, CEO at EMS. BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 is an enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution that builds on more than a decade of BlackBerry’s enterprise mobility expertise and is the most widely deployed mobility solution in enterprises today.
It offers mobile device management, mobile application management and secure mobile connectivity for BlackBerry10 smartphones, as well as iOS and Android devices through the ‘Secure Work Space’, which separates work and personal apps and data.
