MES holds discussion on Vedic Mathematics

With an objective to enhance students’ mathematical skills and improve their memory power, MES Indian School conducted an interactive session for the students of Class VIII on October 26 at the KG Auditorium.

The session extensively dealt with various intricacies of Vedic Mathematics, which enables solving mathematical sums easy and enjoyable and encourages innovative short-cut methods to solution for difficult problems.

Dhaval Bathia, the resource person, who oriented the students, is a consultant trainer with the Gulf Council of CBSE schools and a record holder of the Guinness World Record and Limca Book of Records for teaching the maximum number of students.

The interaction initiated during the course of the seminar served as an eye-opener for many, as students responded with amazing spontaneity, making the session lively and enlightening.

Hameeda Khader, officiating Principal; school officials including Heads of Sections, student counsellors and teachers attended the session along with the students. Members of Department of Guidance and Counselling coordinated the programme.
