Doha, Qatar: Editor-in-Chief of The Peninsula, Prof. Khalid Mubarak Al-Shafi, received the Ambassador of China to Qatar, H E Cao Xiaolin, at the newspaper’s headquarters yesterday.
During the meeting, the discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the Chinese Embassy and The Peninsula, including opportunities to enhance media coverage of bilateral relations, diplomatic engagements and cultural exchanges.
During the visit, the Ambassador was also briefed on the newspaper’s history, mission and growing digital presence.
Furthermore, Editor-in-Cheif and H E the Ambassador explored ways to promote mutual understanding and further strengthen the longstanding ties between Qatar and China.
