Doha: Ministry of Culture (MOC) is participating in the 29th Algiers International Book Fair, which opened Wednesday and runs through November 7, as part of its efforts to promote Qatari intellectual and literary works and expand their presence at international exhibitions and cultural events.
Director of the Libraries Department at the Ministry of Culture and Director of the Doha International Book Fair Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain said the participation reflects the ministry’s commitment to promoting Qatari culture and publications, reaching wider audiences, and expanding engagement with cultural institutions and participating publishers.
He said showcasing the ministry’s publications offers an opportunity to highlight the diversity of Qatar’s culture.
