Alexis Sanchez could be set to leave London and board a jet for the glamour of Milan.
With contract negotiations still stalling between Sanchez and the Arsenal board, as reported earlier this month, the Chilean forward is said to be frustrated.
The forward has been in sensational form this season and believes he deserves a pay-rise; Inter Milan are willing to meet his demands and bring him to the San Siro.
Huge transfer kitty
According to reports, Inter Milan have a staggering £130 million to spend in January and they have made Sanchez a priority target – they are willing to give him £200,000 a week to join the Italian giants.
Having previously played in Italy, enjoying success with Udinese, Sanchez has long been rumoured for a return to the country where he made his name.
Signing the Chilean would be a major warning to Europe’s elite
For Inter Milan, the signing of Sanchez could be the gateway to Europe’s elite circle; Inter have an estranged relationship with being Europe’s best, having lost their dominance and stature in recent years, but with a purse bursting at the seams, they could be set for a return.
