Doha: Oris showcased its latest watch collection at Al Muftah.
A team of Oris pilots embarked on a mission to fly the brand’s latest collection around the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Al Muftah celebrated the launch by holding a conference for the Oris pilots detailing their trip and unveiling Oris’ latest collection of watches.
The three-man team of aviators has been put together by Karim Gerber, Oris’ Middle East Regional Manager, Karim was joined by ex-Swiss Air Force pilot, Paul Ruppeiner, and former Swiss Air pilot, Simon Maurer. All three pilots are members of select group of Switzerland’s licensed air-show pilots. The mission had 22 legs over a three-week period and saw the team spending 40 hours in the cockpit as they flew from their base in Switzerland to destinations such as Thessaloniki, Cairo, Riyadh, Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.The Peninsula
