Baghdad: At least seven people were killed and 30 others were injured, including Iraqi police, in a car bomb attack near the General Retirement Department in central Baghdad.
Police said that the car was parked next to the General Retirement Department near Al-Shuhada Bridge in Al Salhiya district of central Baghdad, killing seven people, injuring 30 others, and damaging a number of cars near the site of the blast.
In another context, the number of victims of the Karrada suicide bombing which took place Monday evening rose to more than 60 dead and wounded.
In this context, Iraqi Interior Minister Qasim al-Araji called for vigilance, increased intelligence efforts and cooperation between the various security and military structures to achieve security and stability.
On the other hand, a number of ISIS militants were killed two foiled attacks of the organization in the areas of Mahalabia and Tal Zalat western Mosul.
