DOHA: During Ramadan, outpatient (OPD) morning clinics of Hamad General Hospital (HGH) will function from 8am to 1pm from Sunday to Thursday, and evening clinics from 8.30pm to 11pm.
The paediatric satellite pharmacies (second, third and fourth floors) will open from 8am to 1pm. The ground floor pharmacy will operate from 8am to 2pm and 8.30pm to midnight.
The Phlebotomy (blood test) OPD Laboratory will open from 7am to 2pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 8am to 1pm on Saturday. For evening clinics, the laboratory will run from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.
Women’s Hospital OPD will operate from 8am to 1pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 7.30pm to 10pm from Sunday to Wednesday. Women’s Hospital Pharmacy will continue to operate 24/7.
OPD clinics at Heart Hospital, Al Wakra Hospital, The Cuban Hospital and Al Khor Hospital will open to patients from 8am to 1pm from Sunday to Thursday.
For patients with appointments at the Cuban Hospital, the Orthopaedic, Cosmetic Surgery and Gynaecology/Maternity Clinics will open from 7am to 1pm.
Patients have been advised to contact the respective hospitals if they have any inquiries about timings for specific services.
Al Khor Hospital’s OPD Pharmacy will open from 7am to 1pm and the Emergency Department’s Pharmacy is operational 24/7.
OPD Clinics and Pharmacy at Rumailah Hospital will operate only from 8am to 1pm from Sunday to Thursday.
The Dental Clinic will open from 8am to 1pm and 8.30pm to 10.30pm.
The Dermatology Clinic will open only from 8am to 1pm.
Rumailah Hospital’s Hands Unit will open from 7am to 3pm and 11am to 7pm all days except Mondays.
Maxillofacial Unit will run between 8.30pm and 11.30pm from Sunday to Tuesday. Tuberculosis Clinic will open from 8am to 5pm while DOTS Therapy Unit will attend to patients from 6pm to 10pm. There will be no evening clinics at Psychiatry and Geriatrics departments.
The Physiotherapy Clinic at Rumailah Hospital will operate from Sunday to Thursday as follows: National Center for Cancer Care and Research’s (NCCCR) Neuro-Physiotherapy Section (7am to 3pm); Male Out-Patient Orthopaedic physiotherapy (7am to 11pm); and Female Out-Patient Physiotherapy (7am to 3pm and 5pm to midnight).
The NCCCR OPD clinics will open from 8am to 1pm. The OPD Pharmacy will operate from 7am to 2pm daily, and the Day Care Unit will open from 7am to 3pm every day except Fridays.
The Referral and Booking Management System will operate from 6am to 10pm from Sunday to Thursday.
Referrals will be collected from centres throughout Doha as usual and patients will be called to book their first visit appointments.
The Hamad Patient Contact Centre will operate from 7am to 10pm from Sunday to Thursday and 10am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday.

The contact centre will continue to make reminder phone calls for appointments and send mobile text message reminders to patients during Ramadan.
