Doha: Qatar Fuel Additives Company (Qafac) hosted the 2014 Long Service Award evening at Hilton Hotel on Wednesday.
Over 100 employees serving for five, 10 and 15 years were honoured. CEO Nasser Al Kuwari presented them with commemorative gifts. Employees who have joined the company since 1999 representing all departments attended.
Opening the celebrations, Talent Manager, Peter McManus, put highlighted the importance of long service and continuity to any organization.
In his keynote speech, Al Kuwari congratulated the staff and said, “Qafac is a small family of skilled and dedicated individuals, each with an incredibly important part to play in the bigger picture ie the success of the company. “The ongoing success of Qafac over the years has in no small part been down to what I observe on a day to day basis — commitment, endeavour, initiative, dedication and professionalism. “These are the traits of any great company and we are privileged to enjoy these traits in abundance in QAFAC through you.” the peninsula
