ESPN are reporting that Paris could be the destination for Lionel Messi once his contract at Barcelona expires in 2021.
Father & Sons
In a sensational revelation, PSG director of football Patrick Kluivert is said to have met with Messi’s father in a bid to bring the superstar to Paris.
The four time Ballon d’Or winner has apparently made clear to friends and family that he will be leaving the Nou Camp upon the expiration of his contract, sparking a war for his signature from Europe’s elite.
Di Maria hopeful
Angel Di Maria has also been talking up PSG’s chances of landing the Argentinian.
Speaking to RMC, the ex-Manchester United player had this to say:
“I hope that PSG can bring Messi to Paris one day. Everything is possible. It is all about money. It would take a lot of money to sign a player like him.
It would be great for Ligue 1 and French football in general if Messi joined PSG. PSG have the resources to sign him. Messi could come to Paris.”
