NEBIDO: Speaker of Myanmar's parliamentary House of Representative U Shwe Mann, conferred here on Thursday with Qatar's non-resident ambassador to Myanmar HE Jabor Bin Ali Ad-Dousari.
Talks during the meeting dealt with means of developing ties of cooperation between Qatar and Myanmar with esphasis on area of parliamentary affairs and coordination in international parliamentary forums.
For his part, Maynamr's Agriculture and Irrigation Minister U Myint Hlaing conferred with HE the qatari diplomat and discussed ties of joint cooperation in field of agriculture and enhancing trade in agricultural products.
Meanwhile Myanmar's Minister of Labour Maung Myint also met with HE Jabor Bin Ali Ad-Dousari and discussed means of boosting ties of joint cooperation and understanding plus measures to recruit the Myanmar workforce to work in Qatar.
In a related development, HE Ad-Dousari separately met with Myanmar's Minister of Transport Nyan Tun Aung, Minister of Sports Tint Hsan and Minister of Hotels and Tourism Htay Aung.
Talks during the three meetings featured means of expanding scopes of joint cooperation in the three fields. (QNA)
