​IQ expo set to bring world of interiors to Qatar

DOHA: A new exhibition is set to bring Qatar the latest and most innovative products and solutions for the interiors and hospitality markets.
Details of IQ, Organised by dmg events Middle East will be the flagship event in Qatar for residential and commercial interior design, hospitality interiors and solutions, as well as fit out materials, fixtures and fittings. Designed to serve Qatar’s burgeoning buildings, construction and interior fit-out markets, IQ will take place in Doha, Qatar, in February 2015.
Explaining the reasons behind the launch of the new exhibition Anna Canning, Event Manager, IQ exhibition, said: “Private and government investment in Qatar’s construction projects continues to rise, fuelling the demand for interior design across all sectors of the industry. IQ will cater to the demands of all industry players and provide them with a platform to network and conduct business”.
Showcasing products, services and technologies for the design, architecture, hospitality and retail industries, fittings and materials, IQ will attract interior designers, architects and design industry professionals from both Qatar and the surrounding Gulf states.
“IQ will be a combination of three existing exhibitions that we have been successfully organising for many years in Qatar’s neighboring countries: INDEX, The Hotel Show, workspace @ INDEX (Formerly the Office Exhibition),” added Anna Canning.
“We have a well and long-established relationship with some of the biggest and most important regional and international companies operating in the interior design and architecture industry and will be bringing them to IQ. We secured a top brand 16 months before the show and have also gathered a considerable amount of interest from international and regional brands; we are expecting a sell out with over 200 companies to attend the first edition of the show”, concluded Anna Canning.
IQ will cover 15,000 sq. m of the state-of-the-art and environmentally-friendly Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
