Doha: To equip the teaching faculty with the latest tools and techniques in education, Rajagiri Public School hosted a two days educational conference, METANOIA -2022 on March 28 and 29 in the school Multi-Purpose Hall.
The objective is to provide space and opportunity for teachers of RPS to demonstrate their professionalism and understanding on the needs of 21st century teachers and to introspect on the pedagogy they follow in the classrooms.
The Educational Conference was organised under the guidance of Principal Sanjeev Kumar and Vice-Principal Radhakrishnan. Section Head Ben Antony was the convener of the conference. Dr. Subash Nair, the former principal, Shantiniketan Indian School, inaugurated the conference.Twelve members of the Rajagiri teaching fraternity presented enlightening sessions on various topics.
Learning disabilities and disorders, Genius Hour in the Classroom, Curriculum Mapping, Robotics and the Future of Brain learning, Effective use of technology in Education, Gamification- An Innovative Method in Learning were some of the topics presented.
The closing ceremony was held on March 29. M P Philip, Principal, Bhavan’s Public School, gave away the certificates and letters of appreciation to the winners and presenters. The second edition of METANOIA has provided an augmenting experience for the staff of Rajagiri Public School that would enable them to adopt modern trends in education and thereby become better facilitators who will inspire the future generation.
