Doha, Qatar: The General Authority of Customs has launched an electronic auction for 102 silver bars, starting Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

The silver bars are offered in various weights, with each bar weighing 999.9 grams and a minimum opening price of QR7,000.

Interested bidders can participate in the auction through the Maza Al-Jomrok application, the authority’s official auction platform, available on the App Store and Google Play Store.

According to the auction terms, successful bidders must complete full payment within 24 hours of winning the bid. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the bid, forfeiture of the bid deposit, and the item being re-auctioned in the next sale without prior notice.

Customs further stated that the inspection period begins on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Items can be inspected from Sunday to Thursday between 8am to 11am.

Once the winning bid is confirmed, the buyer is responsible for collecting the goods within seven days of the auction award date. Any delay will make the buyer liable for resulting consequences.

Items can be collected from Sunday to Thursday from 7:30am until 11:30am.
