ISLAMABAD: A peace committee member was killed when a bomb blast occurred in Peshawar’s Budh Berh area early Friday, local media reported.
The bomb exploded outside the house of peace committee member located in front of Budh Berh station.
According to police, the bomb was detonated through a remote controlled Improvised Explosive Device (IED), killing the peace committee member on the spot.
Later, police cordoned off the area and started an investigation. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blast. (QNA)
