Singapore: President of Singapore H E Tharman Shanmugaratnam met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs H E Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani at the Presidential Palace (Istana).
The meeting took place as part of the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs in the Shangri-La Dialogue 2026, convened in Singapore.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments and security updates in the region, as well as bilateral cooperation and coordination amid the current conditions.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to Singapore H E Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki Al Jehani, along with several top-echelon officers and officials from both sides.
