This year, Qatar is celebrating Qatar/Brazil 2014 Year of Culture, continuing its tradition of taking Qatar to the world, and bringing the world to Qatar. In an effort to bring Brazilian hospitality and authentic dining experiences to Qatar, the Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel is organising special events at its award-winning restaurant Ipanema for the occasion of the Brazilian Independence Day celebration.

The ’Sete de Setembro’ celebration from the largest country in both South America and the Latin American region, will be taking over Ipanema restaurant from September 4 to 7, complete with Capoeira dance performances, its live Brazilian Samba Band Brazuqa, Bahia inspired food and traditional drinks.
Additionally, Ipanema offers an enticing range of sizzling meats, carved at your table by Passadores. Prime meats like spicy Linguica, juicy Picanha, char-grilled chicken and lamb are cooked live on an open pit. Also on offer is a tantalizing selection of salads, sides and delicious desserts.
