Al Marri guides Beyonce to honours at Al Rayyan

Qatari rider Rashid Towaim Al Marri produced a magnificent display at the QEF Main Arena when he guided Beyonce to a spectacular win on day two of the Al Rayyan International Show Jumping Championship which continued yesterday. Al Marri won  the Art. 238.2.2 - 135 cm class  to bag QR 11,250  after a flawless 37.10-second run at the Qatar Equestrian Federation's (QEF) Main Arena.
Saudi Arabia's Bader Mohammed Alfard, astride Fulla,  won the second place and bagged QR 9,000 in prize money with a time of 37.32 seconds ahead of Qatari rider Hamad Ali Al Attiyah who guided Clinton    to book the remaining slot on the podium, clocking 39.01 seconds.
Birgitta, ridden by Saudi Arabian rider Abdulrahman Alhamazani came in fourth, clocking 39.64 seconds while Sheikh Yousuf Al Sabah, astride Femke EC, clocked 34.61 seconds to complete the top five in the QR 45,000 event.
Earlier, in Competition 4,  the  120cm class, Saudi Arabian rider Saad Alajmi, astride Risohorse Emilia, clocked 33.92 seconds to bag the  QR 8,750 prize ahead of local riders  Hussain Said Haidan who guided Casanova to a podium finish, clocking 34.04 seconds to purse QR 7,000 ahead of his fellow Qatari rider and third place winner Salmeen Sultan A M Al Suwaidi who guided Cascano and clocked 34.76 seconds to bag QR 5,250.
Expresso, ridden by Qatari rider Mohammed Said Haidan and Saudi Arabia's Abdulrahman Alnemr, astride Per Sempre Funny, completed the top five of the QR 35,000 event.
