After years of successful diplomacy and constructive role being played by the country’s leadership at the global scale, Qatar has become a destination for world leaders from all the continents who frequently visit the country eyeing strengthening closer cooperation with the state.
Qatar, by its leadership’s wise vision, is not only playing an important role at the regional and global levels, to resolve conflicts and in field of humanitarian works but also expanding basis of its partnerships with different countries of the world in all spheres from economy to defence.
The visit of two prime ministers from two Asian countries yesterday was a reflection of Qatar’s stature in the world. Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held an official talks session with Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H E Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. During the session, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in various areas of cooperation, especially in the fields of defense, economy, investment and culture.
H H the Amir also met with H E Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H E Pham Minh Chinh and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them.
H H the Amir and the Prime Minister of Pakistan also visited the “Art and Architecture in Pakistan from the 1940s to the Present Day” exhibition. The exhibition, held at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), is organized by the Future Art Mills Museum in collaboration with the National Museum of Qatar.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani also held an official talks session with the Prime Minister of Vietnam. Talks during the session, addressed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern. The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs also met today with the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Apart from the visit of two prime ministers from the friendly countries, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met with Minister of National Defense of Turkiye H E Yasar Guler and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed topics of common interest, as well as cooperation relations between the two sides, and ways to enhance and develop them.
