Doha: Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the State of Qatar H E Mohamed Setri has affirmed the excellent relations between the Qatar and Morocco, stressing that they are historic, solid and deep-rooted relations.
In a statement on the occasion of Qatar National Day, the Ambassador said that the two countries’ bilateral ties are dynamic and cemented with the steady fraternal bonds between the two leaders; Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and H M King Mohamed VI.
This is owing to the solid ground embodied in the rapprochement between the two brotherly nations, he noted.
The Ambassador said these relations, which cover several aspects are also characterised by active solidarity, continuous coordination and mutual support at the bilateral and multilateral levels, reiterating the embassy’s keenness to push these relations to broader horizons, especially in the economic and investment sectors to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries.
On the occasion of Qatar National Day, the Ambassador said; “On my own behalf, and on behalf of all the members of the embassy and the Moroccan community, I extend congratulations to Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, praying to the Almighty for happy returns and further progress to the brotherly Qatari people.” He said the celebration of this day is an occasion to commend the achievements made by the State of Qatar, under the wise leadership of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who continues with wisdom and professionalism in his fruitful efforts and constructive initiatives to achieve more gains in the political, economic, social and other fields.
The Ambassador said 2020 was a difficult and exceptional year for everyone due to the catastrophic repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that Qatar was able, thanks to the insight, proactive approach, and the successful choices of His Highness the Amir, to overcome challenges.
