And the symbolic Hamad Bin Khalifa university.
We celebrated the journey of 874 students who received the recognition by the highest authorities of Qatar, chaired by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, a personality recognized globally for her tireless dedication to education in Qatar and the world, besides other multiple activities that she develops, as she played a role in many important initiatives in the field of education, youth development, culture and society, which have made her country an admired major player in the international community.
It was a pleased to see the participation of H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani and H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, a solemn act held at the facilities of the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).
During the awards ceremony of the most outstanding students in masters and doctorates, we went back in time to the day we graduated from the university with the joy of our parents; that perhaps in those moments we did not value it; however, with time, we appreciate the honored opportunity of being in university classrooms with excellent and qualified teachers. The Peru Ambassador pointed out that the years will pass, and the 2023 graduates will take the baton to continue preparing and return their knowledge to their countries for further development: consequently, a greater well-being to their peoples.
Therefore, we should mention the work of the deans and professors, those who have the mandate to transmit, promote and create knowledge in favor of their students.
In some moments of the ceremony, I felt that the students, who were walking happily to get recognition for their efforts over several years from their Highness, knew that they had also experienced similar moments when they were students, he said.
Congratulation to this year’s graduates who had the opportunity to gain a pioneering learning experience in one of the unique and admirable education cities in the world and I respect the authorities who make these moments unforgettable, like the sheikhs who were also in those magical moments of their lives; and they are an example to follow.
In this field of Education, the great Greek philosopher Plato said, “The goal of education is virtue and the desire to become a good citizen.”
