Doha: The Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah yesterday participated in the 23rd Joint GCC-EU Ministerial Meeting which began in Manama.
The meeting aimed to expand cooperation and strengthen strategic relations on issues of common interests between the GCC states and the European Union.
Bahrain’s King H M Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, incumbent president of the GCC session, met the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President, European Commission, Catherine Ashton, and the participants in the meeting.
Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended the meeting.
