HMC appoints 7 experts to head various units

DOHA: The Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has implemented a major administrative overhaul as part of efforts to improve efficiency. The corporation has appointed seven experts to head its various units, including three Qataris. The sections that have new heads include medical affairs, academics and research, public hospitals, specialised hospitals and the women’s hospital, Rumailah hospital, business services, facilities and manpower. There is also a proposal to bring a new law giving more independence to the corporation in administrative affairs, a local daily reported. 

 

Change in office hours at Hungarian embassy

Doha: Following the change of Schengen visa rules and the introduction of the biometric system, the Embassy of Hungary changed its office hours for consular affairs. For visa affairs the Consular Section will be open from Sunday to Wednesday from 9am to 12pm, while for classical consular affairs (eg. legalisation, passport, etc.) on Monday and Wednesday from 9am to 12pm. Qatar Natural History Group meeting

doha: The opening meeting of the season of the Qatar Natural History Group will be held tomorrow at 7pm at the Doha English Speaking School.
