The second meeting of Qatar Chamber’s general assembly will be held tomorrow at its headquarter regardless of the number of attendees.
Chairman of Qatar Chamber Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani (pictured) will chair the meeting in attendance of all board members. He will brief the businessmen and members of the general assembly on the future plans of the Chamber.
The agenda of the meeting will discuss the Chamber’s fiscal report for the year ending December 31, 2016 and a new auditor for the 2017 financial year will be appointed.
The first meeting was held on March 19 but it was postponed due to lack of quorum. The chamber has urged all the registered companies to participate in the second meeting which will begin at 11 am. Discussions between Qatari businessmen and the Chamber's Board of Directors are expected to be held on the sidelines of the second meeting to touch on issues and concerns of the Qatari private sector. The attendees will look into ways to overcome those obstacles, and will review the accomplishments and activities the Chamber had achieved during the past year.
