New York--An airplane skidded of the runway Thursday at New York's La Guardia airport and hit a fence, officials said, as heavy snow fell in the city.
Some minor injuries were reported in local media, as photos showed passengers disembarking from the wrecked plane.
Forecasters had warned of low visibility as a major storm hits the region.
