Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of greetings to the Pesident of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, on his country’s National Day.
The Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a similar cable congratulating the Senegal leader.
The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani also greeted the president on the occasion.
Culture Minister receives Iranian counterpart
Doha: The Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met here yesterday Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Dr Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, who extended to him an invitation to attend the 3rd meeting of high ranking officials and culture ministers of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), due to be held in Tehran on May 6 and 7.
