Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani met with Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management H E Raed Al Saleh. During the meeting they discussed ways to develop cooperation in the fields of emergency response, search and rescue, and training. The Minister of Interior in a post on the X said: “I was pleased to meet my brother, H E Raed Al Saleh, Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management of Syria. We discussed ways to develop joint cooperation in the fields of emergency response, search and rescue, and training, in light of the State of Qatar’s, under the leadership of H H the Amir, commitment to supporting Syria and assisting its efforts to build its national capacities.”
