SINGAPORE: Saudi Aramco offered naphtha supplies for loading between January and June 2013 at mostly higher premiums after netting record premiums in a previous deal for the second half of this year, traders said on Thursday.

The offers are in line with those from Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC) which is trying to sell naphtha for February 2013 to January 2014 at record premiums to Asia.

Saudi Aramco offered A310 and A180 naphtha at $36 and $31 a tonne premiums to its own price formula, respectively, while Jubail's offer was at $33 a tonne. Naphtha cargoes from Rabigh and Jeddah were offered at $32 a tonne.

Some traders said Saudi Aramco had set higher price targets in the latest round of term talks as it was prepared to sell more spot supply if buyers reject the term prices.
