Al Wakrah crush Qatar SC in QBL clash

DOHA: Al Wakrah rode high on the brilliant performance of Saaka Adamu (27 points) to beat Qatar SC 79-52 in their Qatar Basketball League (QBL) game yesterday. 
Adamu also managed 3 assists as Al Wakrah sailed over their opponents at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall. 
Watson Boney Harold (15) and Ndour Mame Souleye (14) also chipped in with their valuable contributions. 
Harold managed an astonishing 10 assists while Souleye scored 3 assists. 
Mujkic Emir was the next best scorer for Al Wakrah with 6 points. 
For Qatar SC, Jefferson Consteveous scored 19 points and managed a tally of 2 assists. 
White Malcolm Anthony enjoyed a high game with 17 points and 1 assist. Al Muftah Abdulrahman Ibrahim (10 points and 1 assist) also reached double figures for Qatar SC. Yousif Ahmad scored 4 points.
In the second game played at the same venue, Al Rayyan beat El Jaish in a closely contested battle in which the final scored read 78-71 in favour of Al Rayyan.
Al Rayyan was on top from the beginning but a tight battle was clearly visible throughout the game. 
Davon James Dominic was the pick of the day for the winners as he netted 25 points whille making six assists. 
Quintin Immanuel Alexander (16) and  Musa Yasseen Ismail (14) also made useful contributions.
Samm Monroe Junior II (28) and Leon 
Vernon Macklin (26) were the most successful shooters for El Jaish while others failed to contribute in a significant way.
