Doha, Qatar: Qatar Rail announced that since its launch seven years ago, the Doha Metro has facilitated travel for nearly 292 million passengers across the country.
In a social media post commemorating its seventh year, the transport company noted that 37 stations have been established, serving key destinations in the country and providing an effective solution for individual mobility.
It also stated that the metro has achieved an average performance metrics of 99.83% considering regularity, punctuality and availability, while thanking the public for their trust in the vision of the country.
Qatar Rail also renewed its commitment to providing seamless connectivity between various destinations having recorded a total incident frequency rate of 0.013% across the network.
This is reflected in the 99.9% customer satisfaction rate the Doha Metro has maintained over the last many years.
The metro network is supported by 10 metroexpress and 70 metrolink routes, ensuring wider accessibility.
The Doha Metro has been a major transportation network and a preferred mode of travel, especially during major events. Since its launch, it has served commutters across more than 40 events held across the country.
