DOHA: Inter School Competition organised by Youth Forum for the students of Indian Schools in Qatar will be held today at Ideal Indian School Abou Hamour Campus.
Over 500 students in Sub Junior, Junior and Senior categories from various Indian schools will compete in items like elocution, essay writing, painting, debating, documentary, Quran recitation, memorisation and interpretation. The event will start at 1:30pm.
The winners in the individual items will be awarded with certificates and trophies and ever-rolling trophies will be given to the schools securing first, ,second and third places. Prizes will be distributed in the closing ceremony, which will be inaugurated by Auid Al Qahthani, General Manager of RAF Qatar in the presence of RAF PR Director Muhammad Alharami. Representatives from Supreme Educational Council (SEC) and Ministry of Health, Principals and members of managing committees of various schools, and parents will take part in the session.
