Doha: John Boyega, the now famous face of the newest Star Wars film was stock photograph model few years ago. A user spotted his photographs in some college promotional material and posted it on Imgur.
He was the model in some stock photos for Getty Images.
London-based photographer Chris Schmidt, who took the pictures, posted a link to one on Facebook last week.
"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... I did an education themed stock photo shoot with a bunch of teenage students," he wrote on Facebook.. "It turns out John Boyega did quite well afterwards. The force is strong with this one..."
John Boyega took to twitter to comment on the photographs saying he used the money to buy new trainers.
