HEC Paris, ranked number one in the world for Executive Education by the Financial Times in 2014, hailed the new graduates of the Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU) for having successfully hurdled the tough and rigorous educational programs offered by the school. The HKBU Celebration, which was conducted in honor of the new graduates, was held on May 5 at the Qatar national Convention Centre (QNCC).
This year’s cohort includes 45 Executive MBA and 49 Specialised Master in Strategic Business Unit Management participants of HEC Paris in Qatar, along with those from other degree programs offered by HBKU in affiliation with its partners.
“HEC Paris, along with its faculty, staff and participants in Qatar, congratulate this year’s cohort of graduates,” said Prof. Laoucine Kerbache, Dean & CEO of HEC Paris in Qatar. “This marks the culmination of all the hard work, dedication and commitment that the graduating participants put in into their chosen courses and programs. Such efforts were aimed at maximising the opportunity for knowledge acquisition that will serve as essential tools toward the fulfilment of their professional aspirations.
“I also wish to specifically honor this year’s cohort of graduates of our EMBA and SBUM programs for a job well done,” he added. “I am extremely confident that all our 94 graduating participants now count among the well-rounded, future leaders of tomorrow, whose knowledge determines the freedom and entrepreneurship required for the further growth and development of their respective organisations and for a better world in general.”
