DOHA: The Ministry of Interior has warned people against keeping exhaust fans in the kitchen and washrooms on while they go to bed or venture out as the practice could endanger their and their homes’ safety.
The ministry said on its Twitter account last evening that safety rules demand that exhaust fans in the kitchen and washrooms be switched off when people go to bed or are out.
Also, exhaust fans should not be kept on for longer durations for safety reasons.
“Your safety and that of your loved ones is in your hands, so pay attention to such details,” the ministry said.
