Mumbai: Actor Aditya Panch-oli’s son Sooraj Pancholi, arrested in connection with the suicide of actress Jiah Khan, was yesterday sent to police custody till June 13 by a court here, a lawyer said.
Zameer Khan, Sooraj Pancholi’s lawyer, said: “We are completely supporting the police for the investigation since day one. We are completely supporting them and we have submitted Sooraj’s laptop, phone and iPad to police. He will be in custody till June 13. So far, chargesheet has not been filed.” Sooraj is the son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab.
