Doha: Canon Middle East and its distributors, Salam Studio & Stores, have announced the launch of DSLR in Qatar.
The collection includes models such as EOS 750D, EOS 760D and flagship ones, including EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR.

EOS 5DS is the combination of EOS performance and ultra-high megapixel capture, with a new 50.6 megapixel, full-frame CMOS sensor, and a 61-point high-density reticular AF system that includes 41 cross-type AF points. An anti-flicker function helps provide consistent exposure and colour under certain lighting conditions, while a built-in bulb timer and intervalometer expands creative opportunities without the need for an additional remote control.
A refined mirror control mechanism reduces vibration and a time release lag setting minimises camera shake for sharp image capture when using mirror lock-up. A crop function of 1.3x and 1.6x and a custom quick control screen are complemented by advanced, multi-featured full HD movie capture, with time lapse movie and much more.
With all features and capabilities of EOS 5DS, EOS 5DSR features Canon 50.6 megapixel sensor, with low-pass filter (LPF) effect cancelled to provide more fine edge sharpness and detail for critical subjects such as landscapes and other situations where sharpest subject detail is a priority.
LPF is to reduce colour artefacts and moire typical with digital capture and detail at the pixel level. With LPF disabled, EOS 5DSR takes advantage of the 50.6 megapixel sensor. More detail is captured and retained in the original image.
EOS 760D and EOS 750D’s specifications are packed into compact bodies, with an ergonomic grip and vari-angle LCD for easy handling.
EOS 760D has conveniently placed controls, usually found in EOS models, including the rear quick control dial, top LCD panel and intelligent viewfinder for quick access and review of settings and images. Both cameras make it easier to capture favourite moments with vibrant colour, sharp focus and rich detail, using the new 24.2MP sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor.
Flicker detection technology, first found in EOS 7D Mark II, provides consistently exposed images under artificial light for greater flexibility. All models are available at Salam Studio & Stores and leading electronic retails outlets in Qatar.
