Doha: Qatar residents will be able to see the supermoon tonight. Wednesday evening will witness the last appearance of the supermoon phenomenon of this year, the last occurrence was on June 14. The moon will be 14% larger and 30% brighter than the usual full moon as it will be at the closest point to the earth at 357.3 thousand km.
According to Qatar Calendar House, the residents can see the supermoon in the Qatar sky from 6:29 pm on Wednesday till the sunrise on Thursday at 4:52 am.
According to Astronomy.com, the moon will reach its full peak Wednesday afternoon, and it will appear full when it rises that night. It will also be 98% full on both Tuesday and Thursday night.
