In continuation of the school’s rigorous and on-going endeavours to create awareness about disaster management and equip the students and staff with safety measures to be adopted in case of an emergency, a mock fire and evacuation drill was conducted at DPS-Modern Indian School, which involved all the students from Nursery to XII, teaching and non-teaching staff.
Prior to the commencement of the exercise, various exits were chalked out and teachers were briefed about the objectives and steps to be taken for evacuation which were explained to the students by the teachers.
