Junior also spent his 14-year professional career in Brazil and Portugal.
Júnior started working as a manager in 2002, going on to be in charge of a host of clubs.
Hani Ballan, CEO of the Qatar Stars League met with Plínio David de Nes Filho the President of Chapecoense to discuss a range of issues of mutual interest, including ways of future calibration between the two parties.
The Brazilian side’s delegation had been invited to Qatar at the request of the head of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of Qatar Football Association and Qatar Stars League.
