DOHA: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has received greetings on National Day from Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.
The message says India looks forward to further strengthening and deepening multifaceted ties for the benefit of both countries.
“On behalf of the government and the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and the friendly people of Qatar on the occasion of your National Day, President Mukherjee says in the message.
It says India greatly values close and time-tested relations with Qatar, which are deeply rooted in history.
I take this opportunity to convey to Your Highness my best wishes for your good health and well-being, as also for continued progress and prosperity of the people of Qatar,” the message adds.
