DOHA: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar has congratulated the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the eve of National Day.
Shahzad Ahmed said in a statement yesterday that Pakistan under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif was grateful for stronger ties with Qatar, and that these relations had seen a recent historical visit of a high delegation from Pakistan, including Mohammed Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of provincial government of Punjab, and Shahid Khaqan Abbas, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources.
“Let me take this opportunity to convey these heartfelt congratulations from the people of Pakistan to the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the people of Qatar on the eve of their National Day.
