Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 106.20 points (-1.01%) this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 10,361.03 points.
Trading value during this week increased by 132.76% to reach QR 4,277,114,573.70 compared to QR 1,837,530,084.74.
Trading volume increased by 101.23% to reach 102,533,901 shares, as against 50,952,672 shares, while the number of transactions rose by 51.69%, to reach 31,697 transactions as compared to 20,896 transactions.
Market capitalization fell by 1.31% to reach QR 556,139,590,587.96 as compared to QR 563,524,592,190.69 at the end of previous week. Banking and Financial Services sector led traded value this week with 43.81% of the total traded value. Industries sector accounted for 18.72%. Real Estate sector accounted for 11.10% and Telecoms sector accounted for 8.62%.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week with 37.38% of the total traded volume. Real Estate sector accounted for 20.89%. Telecoms sector accounted for 15.20% and Industries sector accounted for 12.83%.

From the 44 listed companies 15 ended this week higher, while 29 fell.
QNB led trading value during this week accounted for 16.98% of the total traded value. Industries Qatar accounted for 11.30% and Masraf Al Rayan accounted for 7.64%.
