DOHA: Al Meera Consumer Goods Company has opened a temporary branch at Sealine in Messaieed to cater to the camps (tents) that come up during the winter season. This is the third year in a row when Al Meera has set up a temporary branch in Sealine to serve the camps. The branch will operate until the end of spring season.
Al Meera officials said they began operating a temporary branch at Sealine during the camping season because earlier people in the tents used to shuttle between Sealine and Al Wakra to buy basic provisions. The company has signed a contract to construct a building that would house their branch.the peninsula
