Israel unleashed a wave of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip early Thursday, killing at least one Palestinian and wounding several others.

A Palestinian girl was killed and at least 13 civilians were wounded in a series of new raids launched by the Israeli forces, last night and at dawn today, on residential homes and separate locations in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian News Agency WAFA stated that the Israeli warplanes launched more than 30 violent raids during which they targeted main roads, sites and lands in the north of Gaza City, and in the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, and in the Khan Yunis governorate in the south, which resulted in the death of a Palestinian girl and wounding 13 civilians.

They included four children from the same family, who were transferred to a number of hospitals for treatment.

In addition, the authorities in the Gaza Strip reported that the Israeli bombing destroyed the vital Saftawi Street, and the road leading to the Jabalia market from the Six Shuhada Junction to the Barakat Abu Rashid Junction, as it caused severe material damage to citizens' homes, shops, water networks, and electricity.
