Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's solidarity with the State of Qatar following the incident during start-up of operations at the Barzan local gas supply facility in Ras Laffan Industrial City, that led to the explosion and fire on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Fouad Majali, emphasised the Kingdom's solidarity and its full support for the government and people of brotherly Qatar in this painful affliction, wishing the injured a speedy recovery and safety for the missing.
