Doha, Qatar: Philippine passport holders can now travel to 65 destinations without obtaining a visa, according to the latest Henley Passport Index released as part of its 20th anniversary edition.
The Philippines ranked 72nd globally in the latest passport ranking, sharing the position with Benin Republic and Uganda.
It improved three places from its 75th position in 2025 as the index measures the strength of passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.
The ranking is based on exclusive Timatic data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and highlights how global travel access continues to change despite growing geopolitical challenges and shifting international relations.
Launched in 2006, the Henley Passport Index has tracked global mobility trends for two decades, showing significant changes in visa-free travel opportunities and the evolving strength of passports worldwide.
Filipino travellers can currently access 65 visa-free destinations, including Singapore, Malaysia, Fiji, Maldives, Thailand, Kenya and other countries, offering more opportunities for tourism, business and international travel.
