Doha, Qatar: Strong northwesterly winds are expected to affect most parts of the country on Sunday and Monday, January 25 and 26, 2026.
The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) warned that winds will range from fresh to strong, with dusty conditions likely across several areas. The winds, advancing from the northern Arabian Peninsula, may lead to reduced horizontal visibility at times.
A further drop in temperatures is also forecast, accompanied by an increased feeling of coldness, the department said.
Marine warnings will remain in effect during this period.
