S’HAIL Shipping & Maritime Services - a private Qatari shareholding company - received the first cargo vessel for the transport of Gabbro, cement and bulk materials.
“S’HAIL Al Ruwais is the first ship received by the company in March 2017 which was built in Anomichi, Japan and can carry 52,817 tonnes to be eligible for the transfer of Gabbro, Cement and Bulk Materials,” said Mohammed Khalifa Al Sada, Chairman and Managing Director of Suhail Marine Services. As part of the company’s expansion programme to buy a number of vessels from the world market to meet the needs of the market”.
Al Sada Added “S’HAIL Al Ruwais ship was leased in accordance with international charters for a period of six months renewable. This indicates the strength and competitiveness of the company and the continuous development of the company makes it able not only to serve the local Qatari market but can serve the international trade in the same time, it is worth mentioning that the vessel (S’HAIL Al Ruwais) sailed in its first trips from the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates to the port of Messaid in Qatar loaded with Gabarro to Qatari market".
He added, “The company has already bought its second ship which is going to be a 75,000 dwt gearless vessel to be delivered to the company in middle of April 2017.” In recent months. Meanwhile, the company is currently engaged in negotiating purchase of its third vessel.
“Although we have already received great interest from various international shipping companies for the possibility of chartering the company’s vessels, we always focus on meeting the local and regional market needs. Our first objective is to serve our customers in accordance with international standards for ship management and operation.
