Doha: The Department of Research and Islamic Studies at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has issued two books, the first one is titled, Inheritance of relatives in Islamic jurisprudence and Qatari law, a comparative study by Dr. Mohammed bin Omran Al Kuwari, while the second publication is titled, “The number of suits in the countries’ systems by Sheikh Mohammed bin Mahmoud Al Mahmoud.
The ministry stated that the two issues come within the framework of the series of researches and scientific messages and represent a valuable addition to the Islamic Library, clarifying that the series that adopts the publication of vital messages and scientific research for researchers in general, and the Qataris in particular in the area of Shariah sciences and Islamic studies serve the scientific, intellectual ad cultural issues that concern the nation and community, and feature seriousness, authenticity and prioritise the scientific production for Qatari researchers in particular, to support, encourage and stimulate them further to publish their knowledge products, in addition to supplying the Qatari and Islamic library with precious, new scientific studies and research that effectively contribute to diagnosing the needs and addressing the problems through efficient and balanced manner.
The book Inheritance of relatives in Islamic jurisprudence and Qatari law tackles the meaning of relatives and identifies this terminology in Islamic jurisprudence, including the rights related to the legacy of the relatives in jurisprudence and law, as well as ways of inheritance, types of relatives in the Islamic jurisprudence and Qatari law. The message expounded on the extent of the care provided by the Islamic Sharia for the rights and the high priorities it offered.
The second book is an investigation into an Andalusian historical Dora, which is a system in the history of caliphates who had ruled the Islamic countries until the era of Lisan Al Din Ibn Al Khatib.
