Doha, Qatar: Old Doha Port yesterday officially launched the Qatar Boat Show 2026 campaign, unveiling the slogan “Crafting Wonderful” at a premiere event.

Media professionals, industry partners, and key stakeholders gathered to witness the debut of the campaign’s brand film, marking the beginning of the countdown to one of the region’s most anticipated maritime events.

Taking place under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Qatar Boat Show will return to Old Doha Port from November 4–7, 2026.

Now entering its third edition, the show continues to strengthen Qatar’s standing as a premier destination for the global maritime industry.

The launch ceremony was opened by CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Qatar Boat Show Organizing Committee, Eng. Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, who expressed gratitude to the event’s partners and sponsors while underlining the team’s confidence and readiness heading into this year’s edition.

He was followed by COO of Old Doha Port and Director of the Qatar Boat Show, Eng. Mohammed Al Atwan, who walked attendees through the exhibition’s journey since its inaugural edition in 2024.

Al Atwan highlighted key milestones from previous editions, detailed ongoing preparations for November’s show, and extended a warm welcome to confirmed exhibitors.

At the heart of the campaign is a slogan that speaks directly to the show’s identity. “Crafting Wonderful” draws on the maritime meaning of the word “craft” to reflect the event’s dedication to excellence in every dimension, from the world-class vessels displayed on the water to the high-level conversations taking place on the dock and the international partnerships Qatar continues to cultivate with leading maritime pioneers.

Speaking at the launch, Eng. Mohammed Abdulla Al Mulla said: “Qatar Boat Show was built on a firm belief that this country has something extraordinary to offer the global maritime world, and that Old Doha Port is the place to prove it. Crafting Wonderful is the most accurate expression of that belief, capturing what truly happens here, where legacy is shaped, connections and partnerships are forged, and the world’s finest maritime experiences come to life along one of the most significant waterfronts in the region.”

The numbers behind the show’s growth speak for themselves.

The second edition alone drew over 27,000 visitors from 105 countries, showcased 65 boats and watercrafts valued at QR880m, and recorded a 25 percent rise in exhibitor participation compared to the inaugural show.

These figures reflect not only the event’s expanding regional influence but also the growing confidence of the global maritime community in Qatar as a serious player on the world stage.

The launch event concluded with the premiere of the official campaign film and the formal unveiling of the “Crafting Wonderful” slogan, setting the tone for a campaign that will build steadily in the months ahead.

With momentum firmly established and preparations well underway, the Qatar Boat Show 2026 is poised to be the most ambitious edition yet, welcoming the world to Old Doha Port this November for four days of innovation, industry, and maritime excellence.
